Tim Altman Talk – Breathing Dynamics Solutions to Asthma, Hay-Fever and Allergies
Springtime signifies a moving out of the winter cold, but it also means that asthma and hay-fever season has arrived.
These conditions are extremely common and debilitating.
Yet these is a solution that is much easier and quicker than most people realise. It involves getting to the ‘root cause’ of these conditions in the first place and correcting dysfunction at this level. And this ‘root cause’ is something that we do more than anything else, other than our heart beat, yet most of us take it for granted. It is how we breathe.
Very few people realise that most of us breathe nowhere near our full potential. In fact, the average person breathes twice as often as we should, with far too much volume; and using our mouth, chest and shoulders rather than our nose and diaphragm to breathe.
This leads to a cascade of changes in our bodies that precipitate symptoms of asthma and allergies such as hay fever; and predispose us to these ailments in the long term.
This is what makes dysfunctional breathing the ‘root cause’ of these ailments.
It also means that breathing retraining provides extremely effective solutions to these conditions.
I will be giving a free talk this Thursday evening (24th Sept) at 7.30pm at Surfcoast Wholefoods in Torquay as an introduction as to how breathing plays such a significant role in asthma and allergies, and points out long term and cost effective solutions.
I would love to see you there. See flyer linked:
